Due to popular demand, these are (kinda) back!

1. Seattle Seahawks - There's not much to argue about here for the number one spot, the back to back champs look to come into the season hot with the goal of being just the first NFL Franchise to win three Super Bowls in a row. They'll see the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football to kick off the 2022 Season. They played a close one in the Wild Card round last season against this Saints team, squeaking by the New Orleans with a 1 point win. This will be a good test to see if the Seahawks can live up to even higher expectations than they had last year.

2. New York Jets - After a heart-wrenching Super Bowl loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the Jets made what may be the biggest move of the offseason, making a rare division trade with the Buffalo Bills and getting All-Pro WR Stefon Diggs. This makes up for some defensive losses the Jets had after a quiet free agency period. New York's offense now features three superstar weapons for QB Sam Darnold who is going trying to prove that the Jets should sign him to a big extension in the offseason. They'll open up their season against the Green Bay Packers, which will be a good test for a team trying to avoid a Super Bowl hangover.

3. Washington Football Team - After an incredible 14-2 season, the Football Team decided to get even better in the offseason. My favorite move was the trade they made of MLB Tremaine Edmunds from the Buffalo Bills. The Football Team now has one of, if not the best LB cores in the NFL. This is not a defense that you want to play any day of the year. They will give you problems, and ruin your day. They got some playoff experience last season, as they were one game away from the Super Bowl, and this season could very well be when they take that extra step.

4. New Orleans Saints - Putting a team that lost in the first round of the playoffs this high is bold, but had the Saints not missed an extra point against the Seahawks, that game could have been very different. The Saints have their chance to redeem themselves against the Seahawks to open up the season. That will be a big, competitive game fought till the very last second. The Saints offense is scary, and rumor has it that second-year QB Shaun Boren has been lighting it up in training camp.

5. Indianapolis Colts - The Colts fielded the best team in the AFC last season, cruising their way to the number one seed, both of their losses came to the Jets, once in the regular season, and once in the AFC Championship. Now, the Colts are gonna come into the season with a chip on their shoulder and looking to avenge their losses last season. The biggest question with this team is at the QB position. The Colts moved on from Cam Newton and signed yet another veteran QB in Jimmy Garropolo. Let's see if Jimmy G can be the QB that they needed to give the passing offense a boost, and help open up the run game even more for MVP HB Jonathan Taylor.

6. Kansas City Chiefs - The Chiefs made a lot of progress last season, with several signatures wins over AFC powerhouses. After a heartbreaking last-minute loss to the Colts in the Divisional Round, the Chiefs are gonna come into this season angry. They've got a lot of tests on their schedule, but they believe they've got what it takes. Former MVP QB Patrick Mahomes even made a promise to fans that he would, "shatter the passing TDs record", and if that offense continues how they left off last season, that could be very possible.

7. Carolina Panthers - The Panthers are another one of the most well-managed teams in the entire league. They added S Eddie Jackson from Chicago in the offseason and that defense has potential. The Panthers are really happy with what they got with QB Jordan Love, and I personally think that they are a dark horse for the Super Bowl this season.

8. Cleveland Browns - Cleveland had a disappointing end to the season last year, but the young team made some progress as a whole. The biggest headline of their offseason is the choice to start QB Matt Stevens over Baker Mayfield. This shocked many in Cleveland, but the Browns believe that Matt Stevens has the tools to take them further in the playoffs, and also they do not want to pay Baker Mayfield anything close to what he is asking for.
