So we have never really had rules against this and it has been brought up that people believe that everyone should comply with the salary cap to be able to play. Some teams have been over the cap and essentially locked out of making trades and or signings. If this rule is going to pass it is going to have to come with an adjacent rule making everyone carry a 53 man roster. That alone will force some people to make bigger roster decisions because I know some of you are only carrying 44 guys now and right at the cap. Due to the nature of these rules we cannot put them into effect immediately if the vote passes they will go into effect AFTER this upcoming season finishes (the one that hasnt started yet).
If the rule passes the rule will read like this:
1. Salary Cap Compliance - All teams MUST be under the Salary cap starting Week 1 of the pre-season each year moving forward. Failure to do so will result in the player taking forced losses or further punishment until compliant.
2. Roster Requirements - From week 1 of the pre-season until the off-season resignings phase begins ALL teams are required to remain at the 53 man roster minimum. If you drop a guy, you must sign a replacement that week etc.
This is an all or nothing vote. Please vote accordingly
