Welcome the my first installment of power rankings that will be updated every 4 weeks!

.Cleveland Browns -- No problem figuring out whos on top after his back to back super bowl victory against the 49ers. The Browns come into this season with Baker Mayfield trying to build off a 38 TD year and hopefully turn it into an MVP. Led by Myles Garrett(35 sacks) and Devin Bush(92 tackles) on the defensive side, its going to be tough sledding for any offense. Do we have a three peat on the way in Cleveland?

.Dallas Cowboys – The talent is meeting expectations in Dallas where they have been a top two seed in each of the postseasons. Offensively you can pick your poison with Dak, Amari, Zeke and Gallup keeping you up at night. On the flip side they have the best Linebacking core in the league with to go with Xavier Rhodes(9 ints) and Byron Jones(7 ints) in the defensive backfield. Look for another solid season in Dallas.

.Chicago Bears – Chicago finally has what they think is their Franchise Qb in Josh Rosen, but will that be enough to secure a playoff win in Chicago and end the disappointment. Defensively you aren’t going to find many holes to run or pass with guys like Khalil Mack(80 tkls, 33.5 sacks) and Eddie Jackson(12 ints) locking it down. I think this could be the year for the bears.

.Indianapolis Colts – After losing in the AFC championship and then losing Nyheim Hines for the season the Colts proved to still be a formidable matchup. Andrew Luck is as good as ever throwing for over 4100 yards and completing over 70 percent of his passes. Possibly adding Patrick Peterson and Calais Campbell will push them over the top.

.Los Angeles Rams – Out in beautiful Los Angeles the Rams will return most of their core to gear up for another run at the Super Bowl. Captained by Jared Goff(32 Td) and Todd Gurley(15 tds) who will keep you occupied enough to forget about the speed on the outside. Aaron Donald anchors a defense rated top 10 in points allowed and will look to build on that.

.Miami Dolphins -- The Dolphins are rolling out a new Qb this year in Lamar Jackson who will have plenty of tools to work with. Minkah Fitzpatrick and Raekwon Mcmillan lead a top ten defense with aspirations of DPOY for both. With two disappointing playoff runs well see if they can complete the rebuild with a super bowl run.

.San Fransisco 49ers – Tough one here with the change from Josh Allen to Tyree Jackson but I think he will find his footing and continue his winning ways. With guys like Nick Bosa and Fred Warner leading the pack on defense there will be no drop off on defense. The niners will be a tough out all year long

.Carolina Panthers – There aren’t many coaches that can say they went 12-4 with a rookie qb, but the one in Carolina can. Bee Tripp leads a potent offense that can score at the drop of a hat. Lurking on the other side of the ball is the ever scary Luke Kuechly who even with age is keeping offensive coordinators up at night.

.Kansas City Chiefs – With back to back playoff campaigns the Chiefs find their way just inside the top ten. Offensively they have unbelieveabke talent and with a healthy Mahomes it will be a task just to slow this offense down. If they want to make it further this year they need some guys on defense to take the next step.

.Green Bay Packers – Barely edging out the saints for this spot, it came down to the QB position. Rodgers will have one more opportunity to cement his legacy in this league. Guys like Adrian Amos and Jaire Alexander will be key to keeping this team in the playoffs another year.
